From now on, versions of a website can be saved. You can store any number of versions from a URL, so you can still view the page even if it is no longer online. This gives you the possibility to permanently secure lost domains.

Statistics show that about 90% of all pages no longer exist online after at most 5 years. This helps you especially to secure interesting articles as well as relevant legal data, and you can view them at any time.

This feature and videos are exclusively available for Pro users.

To activate it:

1. Navigate to the respective link.
2. Open the dropdown menu and select the version.
3. Afterwards, you will see a list where you can manage all versions.

With the Save Version button, you can save versions.

From now on, you can access Bookmark via the API.

From today, you can import bookmarks from various formats. We support HTML, CSV, and JSON. The system automatically detects and collects all formats.

Bookmer has a new feature request section where you can share your suggestions with other users, upvote, downvote, and comment on them. This section is open to everyone. Help shape the future of the platform by contributing your ideas and sharing your wishes. From now on, you have an influence on Bookmer. Everything integrates better with comments.s

When sharing a collection, there is an optional setting to open the links in a new tab.
This can be configured via the “Shared Folder” setting.

You can search Bookmer directly without opening the app by using a new search query. Simply enter this URL:

bookmer.com/search=example

Then add your search term. When you open the link, Bookmer will open directly with your search results. 

We have made many adjustments to the back‑end in recent days, which caused the shared pages to stop working.

We have now implemented a larger adjustment to the infrastructure, which led to significant problems.

The issue has now been resolved, and all shared pages and shared folders are accessible again as of now.

Previously we had a rigid URL logic in the Bookmer area. From now on, the main area bookmer.com/collection This is your dashboard, and all subfolders are then attached, so you have a proper subfolder navigation rather than this cryptic URL.

From now on, the favourites on the left and folders pinned to the pin bar will display only an icon. This allows more items to fit and saves space, making the layout clearer and improving the user interface.

From now on, shared webpages can be viewed in Analytics. This is a pro feature and it offers the possibility to see how many visitors have viewed each page. The data is displayed retroactively for the last 30 days, giving you a sense of where the pages are being viewed from.

From now on, all shared pages can be protected with a password, so only those who should have access can view them. Once the password is entered, the page can be accessed. This can be configured in the Publish section. Exclusive for PRO users.

We have improved icon selection; it is now faster and offers many more options. You can still choose the background color directly in the editor. Additionally, the preview now shows exactly how the final version will look, in Live View.
