In the past, there have been a number of performance issues related to performing certain actions, such as moving links to other folders or deleting components. Until now, these changes were only visible after the page was refreshed. These issues have now been resolved, and adjustments are applied immediately upon execution.
Additionally, the process for adding new links via the URL Bookmer.com/add/example.com has been optimized. This process is now significantly faster and more reliable, greatly improving the user experience, learn more how to use.
There was a bug with shared collections. When navigating through subfolders, the entire folder path was visible in the navigation trail. This problem has been resolved. Now users can navigate as usual via the main paths, even when a shared folder is used.
Fixed some issues that occurred when editing the URL. It is now possible to customize the URL without restrictions. The same problem also existed with bookmark notes. Now, everything can be changed smoothly there as well.
Now it is possible to share content using your own username URL. You can set up a unique username if available, which allows you to share content through the Bookmer URL and customize the URL ending to make it easier to find your content. You can also continue using your custom domain to share collections.
There was an issue with the upload popup box; it was placed in the background, making it impossible to upload custom domains. This issue has been fixed in the latest update
We are making several performance updates in this release:
Icon loading: Some icons might change style due to updates in the data structure. Now, icons load faster, and loading issues that sometimes prevented icons from displaying have been resolved.
Navigation bar: Previously, the navigation bar would close after right-clicking to open the dropdown. Now, it will remain open once you select it with a right-click.
Pinned folders: We addressed performance issues that caused delays when opening the page. With the updated data structure, pinned folders now load instantly, enhancing the user experience.
The Bookmarker.me URL is officially down, and all published pages have been migrated. The URL now serves no purpose.
Some published pages were shut down after the removal of the Bookmarker URL, but this issue has been resolved.
Resolved issues with icons where mouse over interactions caused unexpected behavior. Icons now respond correctly to hover actions, improving the user experience with smooth and predictable interactions.
With this, we fix many bugs, which greatly improves the user experience. We address various issues and introduce a bundle of new features.
Dark mode/light mode switcher
Now you can switch between dark mode and light mode, and set up a custom background image.
Background Color
You can optionally set up a background color instead of a background image now.
Fixing Drag and Drop
Now it is easier to drag and drop elements. In the past, there were some issues with mouse location. With the latest update, it has become simpler to drop elements into another position, a folder, or the navigation bar.
The navigation tab updates and decreases in size because of the auto-hide function
If you move the mouse over the navigation bar without pressing the icon, it remains visible only while the mouse is over the element. If the mouse moves outside the box, it disappears. However, if you type in the navigation tab icon, it stays visible until you click again on the navigation tab.
Access the folder editor via the navigation tab
Get direct access to the folder editor through the navigation tab. By right-clicking, you can open the editor directly. It is now clearer which folder you have selected, as it will be highlighted.
Global Search
One of the largest updates is the new global search function. It works faster and provides all results in a list view. You can navigate up and down using your keyboard for quick access. Pressing enter opens the link directly, or you can select the editor icon for direct access to the editor.
For the first time, we have integrated Shortkey, our web launcher. You can use it for quick access to your preferred search engine, such as Google, DuckDuckGo, or Bing. To modify it, navigate to Shortkey.org and set it up in the settings. Once you configure it and search for a term, it will launch and remember your search keywords.
Radius Modifier
The radius modifier helps improve user experience by allowing you to adjust the radius of icons. This is especially useful for small devices, like smartphones, as it makes it easier to see how the icon will look. Additionally, having a numeric display provides better guidance on which size is the best match.
Folder Editor
The folder has a new editor option that allows you to see and change the icon for each folder. You can select your own icon or choose a default one. Once you change the icon, it will also update in your navigation tab. The default icon is a simple folder icon. If you create a new folder, you can change its icon directly before finalizing the creation.
New Title Preview
Long text is now cut in the center and reduced in font size. If there is space, it stays in the regular text size. When the text is larger, the font size decreases, and the text is cut in the center. This means you will see part of the beginning and the end, making it easier to view long text elements in icon view.
This update, along with many others, enhances the overall user experience. We've made adjustments to improve loading speed and refined visual elements, such as mouse-over effects, to clarify navigation when you hover over elements.
This is one of the biggest Bookmarker updates since founding it includes many updates in the backend to improve the performance and over 50 minor adaptions, part of the main updates are this:
Custom Domain
If you set up a custom domain, you now have the option to specify where to direct users if they do not set a URL route, for example, to a folder or your main website.
Settings
There is a new slider that allows you to add new bookmarks at the top. If this option is not active, the bookmarks will be placed below.
If you don't often use the sharing folder, you can now optionally hide it using the hide sharing folder slider. When this option is active, the icon at the top will be hidden. You can still access the share function through the quick folder setting.
The search function is always active when you start typing. If you prefer not to use this feature, you can now disable it.
You can now change the radius of icons, switching from circles to solid boxes to make your bookmark collection more personalized.
Search
If you start typing, the search function will always be active. If you don’t want to use this feature, you can now disable it.
To search within the current folder, use the shortcut CMD + F or Ctrl + F. You can also use CMD + K or Ctrl + K to search globally.
With the new slider option in search, you can easily switch between current folder search and global search.
Wallpaper
Now you can set up a solid color as the background, which is an option in addition to the image option.
Some issues with the preview are being resolved.
General Updates
Drag and Drop functionality has been updated, making it easier to drag and drop bookmarks or folders into different positions.
Some UI issues related to the archive function have been fixed.
Scrolling issues pertaining to icons, especially on mobile devices, have also been resolved.
The loading performance of icons in the new layout has significantly improved.
To enhance loading speed, we now store more content in the local browser cache for a faster loading experience.
The import and export system has been updated, allowing users to import bookmarks by hovering over folders or export all bookmarks through the settings.

Background Image Issues fixed
Adding a new background image to your Bookmarker.me profile is now a breeze. However, we noticed a minor hiccup along the way.
Some users reported that after adding a new background image, the icons appeared a bit off, with an unusual look to their shadows. Not to worry! We've swiftly addressed this issue with a small update, ensuring that your icons maintain their sleek appearance, no matter the background.
